Wellington is just off Junction 26 of the M5 and within easy reach of Bristol and Exeter.
Taunton is the nearest station to Wellington and there is a regular bus service between the two towns. It is, however, quite a distance from the railway station to the bus station.
It is hoped that a rail halt will be opened in Wellington in the next couple of years.

There is a direct service to the centre of Wellington from, among other places, London Victoria, London Heathrow Airport, Reading, Birmingham and Bristol.
