Saturday November 26th at St John the Baptist church, High Street, Wellington, 7.30pm
Wellington Choral Society will present a concert of music from the baroque to the 21st century. Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, plus George Shearing's arrangements of Shakespeare's Songs and Sonnets for choir and jazz piano, the haunting Sure on this Shining Night by Morten Lauridsen and Eric Whitacre's The Seal Lullaby.

Tickets £10 (children and full time students £3) from box office 01823 400964, Wellington Books (South Street), choir members, or on the door subject to availability.

Fourth Saturday every month (earlier in December) The very popular Scouts Fayre is from 10am to 12 noon at the Castle Hall, 6 Fore St, Wellington (next to Somerfield). Various crafts and produce are on sale.
